All our young voyagers are encouraged to fundraise to cover the cost of their adventure. This generates a feeling of personal ownership and a sense of achievement before your voyage even starts.
It may seem a daunting prospect at first but with a little dedication and enthusiasm, raising your voyage fee is very achievable.
The cost of a 10-day voyage for each young person is on average £1,200 but you will need to raise in the region of £1,500 to ensure you have enough for insurance, travel to and from the ship and spending money.
For a gap year adventure voyage you will need to raise between £5,000 - £6,000 to cover this.
The secret to fundraising for any of our voyages is to set targets, remain positive and never give up ! - our Fundraising Pack is full of ideas to help you.
The Adventure Under Sail Team were always on hand to offer their guidance and advice. The more effort they showed the more help they were able to give me. Thank you.
