There are a number of active volunteers helping to run the shore operations of TS Pelican. Of course, new volunteers are always needed and always very welcome.

Adventure Under Sail encourages people with or without sailing experience to join in with the volunteer work. There are opportunities in ship operations and support.

Shore-based Operation

• Cooking/catering
• Office support - admin, Pelican shop and merchandise, school visits, website, education and training, marketing assistance
• Tour guides and open day assistance
• Restoration and maintenance/riggers
• Fundraising
• Events and shows support
• Young people workshops
• Leaflet distribution
