On Tall Ship Pelican, we operate a continuous sail training programme.
Beginning with a full familiarisation of the ship and her rigging, you will have an opportunity to learn and put into practice, helming (steering the ship), setting sails (pulling on ropes) and navigation (chart work and passage planning).
There will also be opportunities to assist in ships maintenance, either on the deck, or the rigging, or even in the engine room.
We can offer a workbook in which to keep a record of your training.

If you are under 25 and meet the above criteria you may be eligible for a partially funded place with one of our partner organisations. Please complete and submit the enquiry form below and we will email further details.
